WINTER SKIN CARE TIPS

  1. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water to combat dry indoor air and keep skin hydrated from the inside out.

  2. Moisturize consistently using a rich, hydrating cream to protect the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss in cold, windy weather. Add nourishing Almond or Apricot oil to your shower routine.

  3. Use a gentle cleanser to avoid stripping natural oils from the skin, especially in the harsh winter months.

  4. Apply sunscreen daily, as UV rays can still damage the skin even during winter and and for the ski-ers, snow glare can intensify exposure.

  5. Incorporate a humidifier in indoor spaces to add moisture to the air and prevent skin from drying out.

  6. Exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells and allow moisturizers to penetrate more effectively. Get out the dry body brush!

  7. Protect hands and lips with hydrating balms and creams, as these areas are prone to dryness and cracking during winter.

  8. Avoid long, hot showers which can strip the skin of its natural oils; opt for lukewarm water and shorter shower durations instead.

  9. Add Hyaluronic Acid to your daily skincare regimen, to help retain moisture in the skin.

  10. Hit a sauna! Dry, wet, infrared sauna. Relax and allow the sauna to do work its magic.
